Exam Info - MoGEA and Parapro

Description
The Missouri General Education Assessment is an internet-based test composed of multiple-choice questions and a written assignment. Subjects include Reading Comprehension and Interpretation, Writing, Mathematics, and Science and Social Studies. Depending upon your institution, you may be required to pass the MoGEA exam.
Eligibility
Candidates for the MoGEA are typically students seeking acceptance into teacher education programs.
Registration
Candidates must create an account at http://www.mo.nesinc.com to start the registration process. At this site a candidate will select a test date, time, and place of testing. The MoGEA fee must be paid at that time.
Fees
Starting on July 1, 2019 the total fee will be $59 for all five subtests, or $25 for each subtest. No additional seating charge will be paid. All payments and scheduling must be done through the MoGEA website.
Day of Test
A valid government-issued ID bearing your photograph and signature is required on the day of the test. Student ID cards are not acceptable. Electronic devices, including cell phones and calculators are not permitted. A complete list of policies regarding the MoGEA is available at the MoGEA website
Scores

Description
The Praprofessional exam is an internet-based test with 90 questions.
Eligibility
As of September 2013, candidates with fewer than 60 semester hours and seeking a Paraprofessional position to work in Special Education and/or Title I settings in Missouri must achieve a passing score on the Paraprofessional test. The test measures competencies in English language arts and basic mathematics skills for practicing and prospective paraprofessionals.

The current fee is $41. Fees are subject to change.

Scores
The passing score is 220. You will recieve an unofficial score report following your exam. The official score report will be released within 3 weeks of the exam
